I am a watercolour artist and resident at Fletcher’s Mill, Dean Clough, drawing deep inspiration from the rich landscapes and heritage of West Yorkshire.
Graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Architecture and Art History, I combine architectural precision with a fluid, expressive artistic sensibility. Over the last two decades, I have specialised in creating bespoke paintings of homes and beloved pets, creating timeless pieces of art for people all across the UK.

Commission a Painting
Turn your family home, a business, or a property filled with memories into a custom piece of fine art. Combining my background in architecture and art history, I focus on capturing the precise character, proportions, and unique charm of each individual building.
Each piece is hand-painted from my studio at Dean Clough, Halifax, using your photographs.
How it works:
Select your preferred size and medium (Watercolour or Pencil/Charcoal) from the dropdown options below.
Add the commission to your cart and check out. Please email your photo to peter_chapple@hotmail.com
Once received, your project is locked into my studio calendar and guaranteed to be completed within six weeks.
Before dispatch, I will send you a digital preview for final approval. Your completed artwork is then carefully cello-wrapped, and shipped flat via a secure, tracked courier.

If you would like your custom house or pet portrait to arrive completely finished and ready to hang on your wall, you can add professional framing to your order here.
Each frame is carefully selected to complement the artwork and includes a clean white mount as standard.
Please Note: To ensure your artwork survives the transit safely, all shipped frames use high-quality, crystal-clear, courier-safe Perspex instead of standard glass. (Traditional glass is available for orders being collected directly from my Halifax studio).
Instructions: > Simply select the size that matches the portrait commission in your cart and add it to your order. Please don't feel like you need to decide on a colour or style right now - once your order is placed, I will be in touch directly to discuss the best framing options for your piece, and your final artwork will arrive fully framed.
