For over ten years, I have had the absolute privilege of creating fine art for a living, bringing everything from beloved family homes and pets to rugged northern landscapes to life on paper.

My artistic journey started slightly differently than most. In 2002, I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Architecture and Art History. That training completely shaped how I look at the world around me. When I look at a street view or an old building, I don’t just see bricks and mortar; I see the angles, the light conditions, the unique proportions, and the historical character that give a place its soul.

After my studies, I took a leap of faith into self-employment, walking door-to-door with a portfolio in hand to see if people would trust me to paint their homes. Within an hour, I had secured my first two commissions, and I haven’t looked back since.

Today, I am proud to be an artist-in-residence with a dedicated studio space at Fletcher's Mill, inside the historic Dean Clough complex in Halifax. The industrial heritage of the Calder Valley and the wind-swept beauty of the Pennines sit right on my doorstep, providing endless inspiration for my personal work and local landscape collections.
